Every heard the expression,
“It’s the thought that counts,”
And wondered if it could ever be true?
It’s not that it can’t be true,
Because it can be true
If you would let it
The effects of everyday life
Have taken their toll
And they weigh oh so much
But is it too hard to let them go?
To forget, and relax?
Because it’s the thought that counts
Author notes
Ack, and you call your poem bad, Selene!?

Aww yeah!
This seems rather deep, as most poetry should be. Interesting in more than one sense... Truly, we can all relate to this. IT is hard to wind down after a day of work and toil.

Neither of them are bad. I like it.

for a present right, its the thought that counts...

Yes, it does. Unless it's a bad present. Then they would have to get a new one for me.
