Within the icy waterfall
I hear the voice of woman call
Cascading with the melody
She sings of love to you and me.
She dances as she did before
As tears spray down upon the floor
Whilst she is held within the foam
Her lover's spirit waits alone.
She floats within her cloak of white
She rushes forth, both day and night
Her soul is captured in the deep
For she is not allowed to sleep.
But what is this? a sunny day
I think the angels heard her pray
Evaporation of the soul
She rises up to reach her goal.
Her spirit rides upon the tide
At last she is the blushing bride
As daylight dries her silent tears
She's with him after all these years.
