I still remember the look in your eye...
when you first said that you loved me
and i nearly cried.

I still remember our first kiss...
when i almost puked
due to nervousness.

I still remember our perfect nights...
when we'd be out together
until the dawn showed its lights.

I still remember the when you told me the truth...
That you had been with another
and had no excuse.

I still remember slamming your door...
when i left you and said
I would see you no more.

I still remember that last phone call...
the third in a row
and i ignored them all.

I still remember the sound of your voice...
in the message you left, saying
"I made the wrong choice".

I still remember turning around
knowing something was wrong
for in your voice was a sound.

I still remember the look of the lights...
The reds and the blues spinning...
those colors that i cant get out of my sight.

I still remember walking into that room...
With your mother and sister crying
And the EMT saying youd be gone soon.

I still remember our horrid goodbye...
The way you told me you loved me
and let out your last sigh.

I still remember them pulling me away...
as i tried to hold on
and make it okay.

I still remember the feeling i had...
That gripping sensation
much different from "sad".

I still can feel the love from before...
And every day i wish
I could see you once more.
