Lady of the river never leaves
She watches over the waterfalls
As the seasons come and go
Water erosion forming the chasm.
Rocks formation holds her secrets
As visitors look with awe at her
Waterfalls carry tears down stream
Her home is among the trees and bushes.
Walking across the bridge looking back
We see how beautiful you are, lady River
Mysterious lady standing in the shadow
Lady of the River, watch over the falls…

Wow. This is very nicely done. It spills as the waterfall. Best of luck. ~Pamela

Lovely!
What a beautiful response to the picture prompt! Just a couple picky grammar points...waterfalls carry (not carries)and if you are directly addressing in line 10, you should add a comma "We see how beautiful you are, Lady River" Thank you for sharing this with me and I wish you the best of luck in the contest. -
A nice poem to read on nature. River presents beauty where ever it is, but we do not give the respect it deserves. It sustains us, but we sulli it with ungratitude..well done..Best of luck in the contest
