Quietly in the shadows I hide,
waiting patiently, biding my time.
Lamplight softly reflects your beauty,
I've made my choice, you will be mine.
Silently following your steps, one by one,
waiting for the perfect place to pounce.
Knowing your screams will be many,
as I drain your blood ounce by ounce.
In anticipation I begin to tremble,
the blade shimmering in the light.
Swiftly grabbing your ebony hair,
your eyes grow wide with terror and fright.
You are all so damn predictable,
as a scream shatters the peace.
You really wouldn't do that,
if you knew it unleashed the beast.
With a single swipe across the face,
I give you a guillotine grin.
The blood turns your screams to gurgles,
as I pray to release your sin.
Eviscerating your lashed torso,
entrails slither like giant worms.
When will you ladies of the night,
ever bloody well learn?
The devil tells me to do this work,
to clean up each and every town.
Yes I know I'll be going to hell,
but I'll be wearing a crown.
Burning forever, eternal agony,
it does bring fear to most.
But when your mind works like mine,
the devil makes a very good host.
