The Meaning Of Christmas.

A star guided three shepherds to a dusty old inn
where a baby was born to save all the world's sin
tucked away in a manger surrounded by a soft glow
this baby would be one the whole world would soon know.

His message of peace and God's love He did tell
of Heaven where us and the angels would dwell
many heard His strong message that soon changed their lives
working for acceptance for all mankind they did strive.

Christmas, a time, to remember this birth
where Jesus spoke of all mankind and it's worth
a love that goes beyond all material gifts
truly there forever, one that will never shift.

Take timeout and remember why Christmas is here
if not for Jesus the path wouldn't be clear
celebrate, making sure it's for all the right reasons
remember that Jesus is the reason for the season.
