I feel at last, if truth be told
To tell the tale
Of spirits old
Long time ago, before my cantoes tell
two were one
And then one fell
This world, that to honed eyes seems
Black as opal
Was once their tender dreams
We see them lost
Our angels,
Which we did bitterly accost
Know them well!
Two were one
Until the final death knell.
Arx-Caesus! Arcis-Caesus!
The little folk that dwell there
Turn now to face us
Arx-Oriri Arcis Oriri
The happy folk that dwell there
Wipe from our faces
The eyes of the weary
The smiling folk happily free
Unhidden by mirrors
Lifteth the veil for all to see
No questions would i of them ask
For they are the Oriri
Nor put upon them a daunting task
But f i watched I would come to see
(But prayeth not)
The little minds that set us free
Do you enquire of the Caesus?
for they pass judgement
They will in turn face us
But if I watched them I would come to spy
(nor prayeth then)
The reasons they would quickly die
Bringeth forth into battle each day
From Arx Oriri sheilds of gold
To bringeth light unto the fray
Issue forth from shadowed land
The arrows of Arx Caesus
Worlds do shake from the black gods hand
To battle in silence
(Prayeth not now)
For no victory will come of the violence
Clothe the weathered folk
Bring them back to this land
And to gain happiness from their yoke
For no victory will come of this war
only balance
