Can we see him yet the shepherd said, its not to late to call?
only we heard down in the village that he'd come to save us all !
Can we listen to him sleeping can we quietly rejoice ?
until the time he's old enough to help us through his voice !
if we're quieter as quiet be as quiet as a mouse
Could we maybe perhaps just one day be invited to his house ?
Can we just perhaps be first to say we saw him in the stall
The one who at last eventually will come to touch us all ?
