The betrayal of the night
Will take this last dance
Leading her away
With a hurting romance
As the night falls
She’s tormented by her fear
A ring resting beside her bed
with a single tear
a shallow voice screams inside
With anguish to this Silent Bride
The letter left beside her bed
Will speak words never spoken
And by the time these words are read
this engagement will be broken...
