Through wind of change
a prism of time;
came a vision to the wise;
footsteps of man will reveal
the color of melded hours
for the guest sits upon
a diadem drawn as a flower
a Lily of red and earthen colors
Seven smiling faces of days
upon a throne resting on
heads of angry lions
and all around are articles of confusion
and all within are peace and abundance
and in the balance, freedom of choosing.

thank you for this entry, and for letting the image inspire you so. my favourite lines are /the colour of melded hours/ and / a diadem drawn as a flower/. The final two lines are almost a benediction. Well written, an individual exploration of more than just a picture.

"freedom of choosing" yes.
Perfect ending. Loved this.
