To Nana

Oh, what you have taught me!

There's so many things.

Look at who I am

See what memories it brings...

Playing Piano...

YOU were the one I wanted to be like

While I was playing piano.

You had me hooked since I was a tyke

Because of you I couldn't say no!

Dress Up...

With all your pretty jewelry and rings,

You looked all dressed up.

I wanted to wear lots of "bling,"

To be just like Nana.

For all these reasons

And so much more...

I love you so much.

It is you I adore.

Author notes

I like to dedicate sweet poems to my family. This is the poem I am giving to my grandmother along with a rose for Christmas.

Tell me what you think about this, please!

There were some parts of the poems i thought sounded really great. Others were a little overdone. But you know, your only 11! So i think this poem is solid for your age.
It came from the heart which is all that matters.
    Your nanna will love this!!!!
