It has been nearly eighteen lonely months,
my heart has been thumping all day.
Will we still feel the same love now
as on the day he sailed away?
He grabs me up into his arms,
his kit bag slung down on the ground.
Our kiss so deep that we forget
we aren’t the only ones around.
Then in the cab on our way home
he smoothes his fingers down my hair.
His eyes glisten and his smile is shy,
we both know the time is near.
I feel his need and he senses mine,
we have dreamt of this every night.
We have talked in letters for a while
to start a family, tonight we might.
We enter our home and close the door,
both almost afraid to breath.
Then I’m in his loving embrace,
another honeymoon, now he’s on leave.
I am breathing, tasting, drinking him in.
Clothes get cast aside in our need.
Our hands feeling, remembering the way
as we are rushing in our greed.
Kisses hot, breathless and savage,
our bodies are raging wild,
as we become one after such a long time.
Our love will conceive our first child.

What a beutiful erotic poem if that makes sense. It is erotic but the fact that is is to conceive is lovely, it touches my heart, well done. Thank you for entering my contest and good luck.

I like this, although I find an akward flow in the words you still tell a story. Good luck!
