Don’t let them take Christ out of Christmas
He is our reason for being here today
The innocent Babe who was placed in a crib
Just on a simple bed of clean hay
He was sent to save us that first Christmas
So we could all learn to live together
In peace and harmony with understanding
How to all be God’s children forever
Without our Christ child at Christmas
It would be just another working day
Nothing holy or special or sacred at all
People just clamouring for even more pay
Teach the children that Christ is Christmas
God’s son sent down from heaven above
Without him there would be no presents
In a harsh world with even less love
We can put Christ back in Christmas
Each of us in our own personal way
Do something for someone for no reason at all
To make them feel really special today
Say a prayer for all those at Christmas
Who serve on a faraway shore
For all the lonely and those who are sick
And for loved ones who are with us no more
Christ must always be in our Christmas
His love will beat on in your heart
As each generation keeps striving for peace
Blessed Christmas is the best time to start

sadly so may people have already taken christ out of christmas. Even some christians have done so. It is a depressing thought.
