christmas use to be a joyful time of year for me
but then my grandfather passed away shortly after wards
then life semmed to blurr all togeather and become painful
pain that enveloped me
now x-mas means nothing much to me since he has passed
it means a bad bout of deppression to me
one where i will want to be alone
christmas is suppose to be a good time of year but is not
what will it be like this year i do not know
all i know is that x-mas has no meaning to me
i only celebrate for the kids
i know he would want me to be happy

Wonderful write, I noticed some spelling errors throughout, and your I's are not capitalized.
Both of my grandfather's have passed away, although not on Christmas, however it can be hard no matter what. I know you've heard it before, we all have when someone passes, but all you can do is go on.
After all, as you said, he would want you to be happy. Thank you for entering.

I read your notes and this poem is not horrible. You have penned a deep emotion that expresses your inner beauty. This is a true poem. You made me sad as I read your feelings and I can only pray that time will heal your feelings and alow you to enjoy Christmas again especially for the children. You must realize that your joy or lack of it can be felt by them.
