The wind has stopped blowing,
There is a silence in the trees
The stars will keep shining
But my heart is put to rest
The candles that burned deep
Within my soul are fading
The hot wax running down my fingers
And the North Wind
Has set a chill to my skin
The feeble lights flicker
In an uncertain future
Yearning for the warmth of your arms
I no longer find comfort at the hearth
And the garden has long turned
To dead, lifeless rows of emptiness
Mirroring my vacant eyes
