His third eye opened
from car accident,
auras visible from every soul,
voices heard,
but hues of their secrets
speak their own message.
Faces viewed with rainbow glows,
each color a different feeling,
so confusing when they blend together,
able to see peace and hate
when person talks about feeling in love.
Days grown in vividness
mind disillusion over never finding goodness
among the lives seen.
Yet, finding new purpose
in the sensing of when a tint
shined some pain the person was afraid to share.
Empowered by compassion
he reached out to those
that expressed such deep sorrow or depression.
Quietly bringing life and hope
to so many in their private torment,
finally able to accept his new gift as blessing.
Until the day came
when he encountered a stranger,
having an aura so incredible dark and evil,
yet one driven by the abuse he had experienced.
Eerie visions came with this encounter,
still he knew his ability to help heal the man's wounds,
without hesitation.
Unaware in the process it would strengthen his dark side,
and how then the demons inside would take over,
then vent his evil with demand for a sacrifice,
seer stunned when his help ended with a bloody thank you.

This is a very powerful use of the image presented. I like the idea that this is an image of auras and life energy, but there's still a very dark tone to it. Very well done, thanks for entering!
