Holiday Tree

What the fuck is a "Holiday Tree?"
What does that mean to you or me?
Why can't they just leave things alone--
the stupid bastards make me groan.
Is Christmas now to be taboo,
just because some dumb Yahoo
might take offense at Christian rites,
holly, Santa and all the sights
of carol-singers and Yuletide cheer?
I'm fucking disgusted--pass me a beer!

    Thank you for your well worded entry.
    I feel much of the same as your poem says.
    It's quite ridiculous...
    And as I'm still in highschool i find it silly to call christmas break 'holiday break' because if it truly was a 'holiday break' we would have hannukah off...

    Tinsel. baubles, coloured lights
    Forget 'PC' we have our rites
    We'll stand and fight this f****** bunch
    Who won't enjoy their turkey lunch
    So stick the fairy on the top
    Let's have a drink until we drop!
