it doesn't matter one bit to me

and you're getting on my nerves,you see
so just hang up the telephone
I just want you to leave me alone
I've bought eveything that can be bought
and I won't answer if I'm not home
get a little stinkin' life
you know your mama done told you so
a real job, with real pay
will get you off your butt everyday
make us all here happy too
stay off the phone you crazy fool
if you keep calling to irritate us
who knows
... we may all get laryngitis

I have been on both ends of the line with this one. You've depicted the scenario very well..I love it. This is the reason I don't do telemarketing anymore...couldn't stand being a constant irritation to people, it's not in my nature. Well done...great poem -
