Traditions of Christmas

Missing image

In preparation of Christmas
we start with Christmas songs
that put us in the spirit
to last the season long

Stringing of the popcorn
the hanging of the lights
with all the joy and laughter
it's such a glorious sight

We go out Christmas caroling
Walk in the bountiful snow
the children are little angels
and the trees are all a glow

Hot cocoa awaits our return
to warm us from the cold
we hang Christmas stockings
our names printed so bold

It's such an inspiration
to see traditions unfold
an everlasting sensation
within our hearts we'll hold

Christmas is a pagan holiday. If you do any research at all you'll realize Jesus, if he really was born, and how they have any idea of knowing when he was born I don't know, most likely was not born on December 25th at all. That was a compromise made to blend two holidays together. Christmas is actually an ancient pagan holiday, which i believe was called Saturnia. It had something to do with celebrating the Winter Solstice. Ever seen a pine tree in Palestine? Nah, I didn't think Jesus ever saw one either.
