I cannot bear
to think of your
painstricken tears
I cannot comfort
you with the right words
-I never knew them-
or the right touch.
So instead I try
to make you laugh
and when I succeed
to see the grief
subside from your eyes
it's alright that
laughter is all i
can give you-
it's enough.

This is a beautiful poem. I just wanted you to really go deeper. I could tell the passion was there, but you only just scratched the surface. I know you could do more. I loved these lines:

It's just such a wonderful statement. Sometimes laughter is all you can give and sometimes laughter really is the best medicine. Especially for a broken heart. Thank you so much for entering. -
