Everything is on my mind,
a slight desend into the hole.
Keep me above so I can breath,
no longer a soldier for you whims.
I want you to look you in the eye and see,
be able to see every truth and spoken word.
A fragile thing in the mind of things,
but a whispered thought of zealousness.
Don't look toward me and see nothing,
see the something I want to become.
Crack my surface but not the core,
slipped drinks of sadness and no relief.
Force your stares towards me and keep me together,
make this easier that what it really is.
For the compliment is better,
the door is open on both sides and I like it.
Don't keep the distance alive between us,
it keeps my mind on needles coated in acid.
I'm not the kind of girl to give you more,
but I'm selfish so I want stuff in return.
I don't want to fall for you in the sense of love,
my mind riddled with the plague of touch and romance.
My mind has had enough and I just don't care,
I don't want to feel the way I did before.
So don't look me in the eye and tell me 'yes',
cause I want to say no right back at ya.
Stop the cause of pain and emotional turmoil,
my mind needs rest but can't sleep like this.

a few grammatical errors and a little repetative, but otherwise it's pretty sweet. the overall meaning placed behind it is inquisitive, nice job.
