From birth until death,
all we're taught is how to gain
the riches we want.
From death until birth,
we're taught how to acheive not only necessities,
but wants.
From death until birth,
we're given choices of what is right or wrong.
Well my choice is to die for the good,
not live for the bad.
Evil lurkes wherever I go,
and it's always hard to keep a straight head.
But all I've got to remember is this-
"It is not about striving for immortality, but about accepting mortality."
-J.K. Rowling
From now until the moment mortality is slain
I will be Christ-like, as best I can,
not just for myself,
but for the good of the many.
Author notes
"It is not about striving for immortality, but about accepting mortality."
-J.K. Rowling

I don't agree with all you say in this, but I definitely like the way you say it. It's very well written, and I like that you went beyond the quote. Good job!
