Fallen Angel

Wings so soft, yards of silk
Hair spun of gold
Strands falling, cascading her face
Patiently waiting for her love to return
Her heart disassembled into minuet pieces
Tears streaming down her porcealian skin
Falling into the sky, producing raindrops
As they fall to the ground.
Her body trembling, wanting his touch
Desperately missing his hand caressing her face
His lips melting her fears away
Oh, how her heart sighs
As she sits and waits

First of all I'd like to say that you've found a very beautiful picture to be inspired from
the poem you've written with it fits completely actually
I think I found one little oopsie in line 6 -> porcealian should be porcelain?

Anyway, thank you for entering the contest - I wish you the best of luck!

Congratulations on your prior trophies for this write. I think you captured the picture perfectly. I think it's supposed to be "minute" instead of minuet on line 5. Best of luck in the contest.

    "Oh, how her heart sighs
As she sits and waits". This is a sweet but sad poem which you have produced from the picture. I knew which picture you chose because of the brilliant imagery. So many great describing words! More poems need these. Your poem even made me feel for the angel who is waiting for her love. Brilliant poem!

    Well done and good luck.
