Christmas Star

One
glowing
little star sits
high upon the tree,
to light  the Christmas
spirit hidden  within you
and me.With the gifts of love
we give, this star will shine ever
bright, bringing peace and joy to all
within it's sight. Presents do not matter,
no ribbons, wrap or bows, just sitting around
with family and friends where the heart's fondness
always seem to grow. Laughter and smiles I'll cherish all
through the year, reminiscing the wonders of all those I hold
so close and
dear. One star
glowing ever so
bright, thank you
~~~for the memories~~~
    A really fabulous concrete poem that you have created. Your poem is very human and touching, and was a delight to read. It was also layed out beautifully on the page. Best of luck in my contest, and thanks for entering.
