I can understand that maybe I don't get this because it was written for someone else, but I don't think that's the case. Sorry if you find me to be ignorant, but I don't think this sounds very poetic. This sounds more like you're exspressing your holiday spirit with fragments of words. I think you should add more, like something ABOUT the season . . . I don't know, like . . .about presents or something. Elaborate artistally on something that has to do with Christmas or winter or something.
