Christmas day
What fun it is
To see all those presents
Waiting for me!
Happy is what I am
Seeing all of this
Opening them up
Loving what I get
Really, the best part
Is being with my family
Giving each other presents
And all the food we get!
I just love the holidays
Bringing the family together
Thanksgiving and Easter
Both very wonderful!
Still, my favorite is
Christmas!
It's always full of cheer
And the blessing of being together
To give a present
Is to get a present
But I'd rather have nothing
But to be with my family!
My family is not perfect,
But I love them all anyway!
I always have fun with them
And look foward tot he next time!
As you know
It's the best time
To all come together
And celebrate what we have
So this is coming to an end
But don't be sad
Christmas always brings this
Happiness and joy!
It brings the family together
And lets us share
Love and happiness
We will always have!

Ok, you may look at this and say "Hey! this isn't acrostic!" but look at it, it is... the first letter in each stanza spells out "Christmas"! What do you think of this poem??

This is very creative. I could see the form it took without your authors notes and it is very well written. I truely like the way that you have done this and the scentiments that you have conveyed here. I can picture you and your family gathering together for Christmas and the joy you all share together. This is just perfect for this time of year, and the season.
