I was pacing up and down,
In the corridor alone,
Waiting for my peace of mind,
Thinking of the day i'd had.
What a selfish man i'd been,
Gallavanting to and fro,
Had i been support enough?
A bead of sweat fell to my shoes.
When i sat and took it in,
I realised my destiny,
I stood and stepped inside the room,
And held my baby's mother's hand.
