Another day passes
I’m stronger than yesterday
Even stronger tomorrow
Because that’s who I am
A survivor of life’s torment
Optimistic till the end
Nothing, no-one will keep me down
Never have, never will
My head is held high
I step forward toward my destiny
Life will never be the same
But as it should be
As I force myself out of my cocoon
I blossom into the woman I am
The person I want to be
My dreams are within reach
I believe in myself and my dreams
My time of doubt has passed
My spirit has returned, with it, peace within

This so uplifting! I love reading these kind of poems. I like the first four lines the most. That is how I felt after going through a difficult time three years ago. each day was a little better than the day before. Wonderful write my friend!!!!

I really like this poem alot . It has encourage me to go on and not give up . Right now I am fighting breast cancer
