It's Christmas Again!!

Dad's up the ladder,

Mum's putting up the tree,

Creating a Christmas,

Especially for me,

First comes a scream,

Second a crash,

Mum jumps up in shock,

Then makes a mad dash,

Dad fell off the ladder,

Now he's sprawled on the floor,

The dog's wearing tinsel,

Garlands and more,

The tree's on its side,

Due to mum's sudden run,

Baubles lay scattered,

But the cat's having fun!,

Mum rushes back,

For a plaster for dad,

Doesn't see the baubles,

Oh no this looks bad,

Dad hears the commotion,

But when he opens the door,

He trips over the tree,

And falls flat on the floor,

No decorations,

No Christmas tree,

Just my mum & dad,

With their panto for me.

This was really good! It was totally unique. Thank you for letting us know what panto is. I didn't know either
The only thing was you didn't put what option you picked in your author notes but I think I can guess on which
I wish you the best of luck in the contest!

I get it all except the "panto". What is that? Good luck in the contest.

Hi, sorry should have explained in my authors notes. Panto is an abbreviation of Pantomime. An English tradition at Christmas.
