Can you hear that?

Listening to the
sub audible thunder
Through my pillow

your windows whisper
twisting promises of
troubled seas
to float me away

to white blanket beaches
and invisible in mirrors
whispers drift away

in my bath
to vanish in
frosted glass

keep me in whispers
entwined in your breath
in elephant parade
they cant find us there

the fog will hide us
we can stay in bed
listen to the surf
melt the snowflakes

With amber light
through a grass headboard
let it wash us away

    i love this.

your imagery amazes me. this is a delightful bliss of emotion. it tickled my senses like feathers and pepper. only left me a trite more satisfied with its graces.

this made me wanna go there with someone i love and just be... and just exist. and in only that moment let it be just us and that beautiful grass headboard... among all of the other wonderful things you described.

stunning. absolutely wonderful. i. love. this. piece. excellent work.

thank you ever so much for gracing my contest with its presence. this was a breath of fresh beautiful air and a ray of sunshine

best wishes and best of luck in my contest!

Nice write. I like the word choice and the flow was great. Each stanza seemed perfect where and how it was placed. Thank you for your entry.
