Christmas is for Grown-ups, too!

Missing image
Christmas comes but once a year,
so let's all make the most of it.
Let's gather round, sing yuletide carols,
and raise our hands in toast to it.

Christmas isn't just for kids,
grown-ups get to pay the bills.
When I see them rolling in,
I head straight for my pills.

The last line is priceless! Ah do I know that feeling...and usually I'm trying to watch a ballgame and they're all around kids and adults screaming and bouncing into stuff making it impossible to enjoy the game, lol.

But I like getting gifts so what's a guy gonna do?

    A belated merry Christmas...Yeah I know, I'm *cookoo*

Cute, very cute. Yes, Christmas is for grown up... but sometimes they forget that while playing Santa, lol. Great read, made me laugh.

Yep!!! Sums up the christmas season pretty well in my opinion. We spend a fortune on one tiny little day and than all sit around and sigh with the anticlimax of it all. I really really love the background on this!! Where did you find it??

Thanks for commenting! I've had this background so long that I can't remember where I got it. You're welcome to copy it, though.

I was wondering if anyone would read this. I wrote the first thing that I thought of while I was half asleep in the middle of the night. (Not such a good thing to do now that I think of it.) Are you going to write something, too? I wish you good luck if you do. Maureen
