Window of...

Missing image

There is a window of darkness

where no light can shine through.

I call out your name,

sadly, there is no sign of you.

In a corner, I cry, and try

to hold back tears of loneliness.

But, darkness sees nothing.

Every where I go
I call out your name.

Loneliness is the answer,

darkness stays the same.

You were the light in my heart,

the love of my life.
That light left forever;

forever without me,

there is no sign of you.

    orhhh this is really sad and seems so complete and final orhh the pain i felt reading this were immense and took me back to thoughts of past love's very well done on this it really is a beautiful poem xx

    powerful way to speak on loneliness. the reader is convinced of the speaker's heart. the pain is well articulated. nicely done

    I read this pieve a couple times now and it really pulls on the strings of ones heart. Drawing them in closer and closer into your poem.
