What a world i see, this creation
Its trees I see, and i cut them
Its waters i see, and i drink them
Its air i see, and i pollute it
Its fire i see, and i burn with it
No century without war, on this earth
Men, like locusts, swarm and multiply
With our minds, we seek destruction
With our eyes, we divine our hate
With our mouths, we taste the blood
And with our hands, we bring death
Which we mourn, "on a later date"
We are capable of everything
We are the creators of evil
It is in our image we have made it
We are failing
We see the cities of our race
As accomplishments worthy of praise
The earth sees them as festering boils
Scars
Life on earth, just as life could have been
throughout the galaxy
Will one day, at last
Vanish
What then?

A bit more natural for me, I think this is, though it is not my best
Constructive criticism is always gooood

Wow! Impressive and intense. In some ways pessimisstic..and in some ways all too realistic.
Very well done!
