Salamat

`

I breathe -
in your arrival

as snow pigments slide
from the edges of tears.

Thank you Saint Nicholas.

I like the sentimentality of this one. The myth of Santa has never been told or imparted by my parents when I was a kid, only when I was eleven when my classmate told me about him that I started making a Christmas wish list although deep inside, I knew he wasn't real. I only made a Christmas wish list and a letter to Santa once and because of that, somehow I felt deprived. This is really nice kabayan. Maayong Pasko!
