Thoughts cascading through my mind:
Is
it gonna last? Were we ever meant to be?
I tried so hard to make it work,
put up with more than my fair share-
I bit off more than I could chew.
It's not your fault that it happened this way;
I could've (should've) said no from the start.
Though tomorrow it could all be over,
know I've loved you through all of
this
mess, and that won't easily go away.
Some pieces of the puzzle just don't fit together,
though they come close to comfort with each other.
Writing these words, this will be
really
hard to say to your lovely, warm face.
I hope you can try to understand,
I never want to hurt you-I still don't.
Please don't hold it against me;
please don't throw me out of your life.
I'm doing this for the good of us both-
please don't hate me for my
goodbye.

Interesting form, and a woefull break-up! Sometimes it takes a while for someone to realize breaking up is the BEST thing...

I'm enjoying these ones with the message to the side that fit with the main poem, and say a message all in themselves, do these types of poems have a name? it's really cool

And thanks for reading dark dreamer, i was positive no one would ever get through it all hehe

lol Well, I guess it's good for you that I'm stubborn.
And I have ABSOLUTELY no idea what they're called...I just know I like reading and writing them.

This is very good and very well penned and is very close if not exact to what I want from this option. Gracias
