My Cardiac Glass Mansion

Cardiac house of emotions
made of glass.
Landscape of surprising noir blooms
exuding drama and sophistication
Rows of Peonies and Dahlias...
blood-red Carnations
with rich-hued leaves
and a mix of airy white spikes of Heuchera...
splashing rays of light
amidst the beautiful darkness.
Overwhelmed by the virtuous scents of
Frankincense and Myrrh
mixing lightly with Aloe and Cassia,
white Ginger Lily and Plumeria.
An incandescent glow warming you...

as you walk the path around to
the backside of
the beautifully phosphorescent house...

miasma begins to blur the vision...
Mephistophetes running wild
my adversaries living within
my very own cardiac mansion...
The redolence of rotting flesh
mixing with
a notably strong yeasty scent
to create a vapor that burns.
Iniquitous creatures
dancing a demonic jig
with cloven-footed diabolic imps...
while throwing astronomical rocks
into the fragile walls
of the beautiful glass abode.

The essence of righteous royalty
and
The dwelling of the sulfurous pits of Hell...
residing together...
and the battle lines are drawn.

I really, really, liked this,..I love the opposites, the imagery, it was a feast for the senses..BUT

I felt the ending was very weak, the question at the end was just too much..if you want to edit, I'll have another look ..thanks for entering my contest..

What an intense emotional roller coaster ride this was,
what masterful diction as well, and I love the stark transition from the first to third stanza! Hon, I'm adding you as a favorite.
