Presenting Santa's grandbaby
Born last Christmas day
In a very fitting way.
Did you ever think
How little we know about Santa,
A man who symbolizes Christmas,
Warm but distant, aging but eternal.
He never gets featured in People
And never gets interviewed on TV
You never see him on Facebook.
Even Who's Who is silent.
But somehow this picture leaked out.
Some secret file on the North Pole?
We're not sure, even of that.
Maybe Mrs. Claus got careless
Showing it off to her Bridge Club.
It's been authenticated
So now we know
Santa must have at least
One daughter or son.
Santa's a grandpa now
And Mrs. Claus a grandma.
I bet the elves and reindeer
Are lining up to babysit.
Merry Christmas, Santa Claus
To you and your little grand daughter.
It's finally given you a human face.
