In the future our hair colors,
Will no longer be brown or brunette.
We will be bor with hair as blue as the ocean,
Or as green as the caterpillar resting on a rose bud,
Or as purple as the bachlor buttons growing in the garden,
These colors will be our natural hair colors. And only a few strange souls would dare to dye their hair to become a blonde or brunette.
And in the future our houses will never be white,
They will be orange zebra striped or
Pink cheetah spotted,
Or as colorful as a tucan on a high branch of his tropical habitat.
These colors and patterns willbe normal. And only a few strange souls would dare to paint their houses white.
And in the funky future many things will change BUT...
The sky will still be blue and
The grass will still be green.
The sun will always shine and,
The birds will always sing.
For some things never change.

There are some spelling errors, but I think the description and funny concepts are indeed the elements to this fun read.

This was a very sweet and inspirational write, with lovely imagery. There are a couple of grammatical and spelling errors which need to be corrected, but other than that it was an enjoyable read - imaginative and original. Thanks for entering.

This felt more to me a poem about changing the color of your hair then the topic at hand.

thank you for your entry, and for letting the prompt picture inspire you. This is a wonderful poem, taking off like a skyrocket into the future, shooting sparks of thoughts in all directions. Your presentation and background are wonderful, too. My favourite parts are the coloured and patterned houses (you made me see them!), the penultimate stanza, and the final line. Great write.
