A picture site, an escape from life
Not looking for someone, he had a wife,
Though divorce was already on his plate
He needed no one, to love or hate
Stephen King, the common taste
That made him say, hello, in haste
An online fling, he might have thought
What he imagined, is not what he got
Though Pennsylvania was so far away
From the Texas woman, he met today
They talked, joked, and laughed a while
Finding time, which brought a smile
A cam date here, a phone call there
An e-mail sent, just to show you care
A month goes by, and he has to see
If this is all it seems to be
A trip to Texas, a chance to meet
The needle in the haystack, so discreet
A warm embrace, found at her door
The person he’d not been searching for
So it seemed, as time stood still
In love again, against his will
A week went by, and life seeped in
They wondered when they’d meet again
Traveling became a monthly reprieve
Until an idea, was conceived
To quit her job, leave her home
For something she had never known
And so it happened, and it’s been a dream
Four years later, we’re still a team
He married me, in July this year
There is no sadness, nor is there fear
We brought with us, lessons of the past
Which built a love, meant to last!
