Winter approaches on frolicking feet,
Leaving roses glowing in eye and on cheek.
Icicle sparkles reflecting the light,
Enhancing the feel of approaching delight.
Wonder and amazement on each child’s face,
Pure innocent joy brightens every place.
Fresh fallen snow is a magical shine,
As Winter fires warm like a sweet glass of wine.
Drift off to sleep with a smile in the soul,
Enjoy the season; love, heal and be whole.
Listen close in the silence and I know you will hear,
“Merry Christmas, my friends, and a Happy New Year!”
