Coming Back to You

You showed me miracles
And sent me angels too
My friends you made plenty
The blessings were huge

Once I had all that happiness
I left your care and went out alone
The miracles soon forgotten
The healing came undone

The angels left my side
When I pushed them aside
My real friends went by
When wrong ones came into my life


The blessings kept coming
I took them all and ran
Greedily I took what I could
Without seeing the pain I caused

Slowly the blessings subsided
As I tried to make my own
I made wrong choices
Where my friends were concerned
