I lay awake in my darkened room,
the two of us entwined,
I wonder if my life will fade,
I wonder if I'll die,
I need to know I am alive,
I need to know I bleed,
The blade so hot it burns my flesh,
Shinning in the light of the flame,
the hot red steel against my leg,
a crimson tide covers icy blue eyes,
all I see is a bright white light,
and now I know I am alive,
I don't do it for the glamor,
I don't do it for the pain,
I do it for fear of getting lost
In a world so cold and gray.

well... I hope you aren't really a cutter. There are other ways to feel alive other than pain... I hope you are able to find them

Peace and Love
