A rendezvous with Jack.

Missing image

The night was tranquil,

cloisters of tiny stars formed

like snowflakes that glistened

in the moonlight.

****

She knew he would call

so she waited to greet him,

posing elegantly tall

with her outstretched arms.

****

He came silently,

wrapping himself around her

like a boa, leaving his

mark of freezing breath and

crystalising her nudity to

sparkle in the sun of winter.

I read this a couple of times - the 1st time it had a different meaning, and then by the second and third time, its beautiful meaning ushered me into nature. Good luck. Frans
