Sarah’s face wore emerald stars
Shinning through the night
Endless sea of liquid green
Glistening in the light
In the turbulent sea He dove
Without a second thought
Was quickly whisked away from shore
Within the current caught
Once a sailors dream come true
With effervescent charm
She quickly captured this young man
And took Him by the arm
She led Him out into the surf
And sang her sirens song
Then coaxed Him even further out
The current pulling strong
He never thought to turn away,
Or try to swim to shore
He always knew He wanted her
And loved her even more
And so they swam out to sea
Far beyond the reef
And raised three little mermaid babes
Without a moments grief

ah yeah the sirens, there are many tales of them throughout the ages, a sailor's fear, to be grabbed by the song of the ocean
a good poem.
