The Giver

Poignant, radient, overlooked
Celestial and sleepless,
Taken for granted
By the dormant proletariat
Dreams and eyelids fogging
His altruistic givings.

Author notes

often we take for granted the rising sun in the morning

Oh, I like the way you took this write ~ with the prompt ~ (I assume in the Author's notes) ~ But what makes you think the sun is a dude.... why oh why can't it be a girl? I'm only kiddin' I couldn't resist~

I liked it ~ I do think there are many things we see everyday ~ or even can see ~ and in our own lives we either tooo busy to really take a look ~ or ~ just too lazy... or possibly just don't care enough...

Excellent job ~ thanks for entering the "Set the Bar" Contest ~ good luck to you.
