Christmas Morning Fantasy

My heart beats at rapid speed
as I drift in the dream and fantasy
Of waking up this Christmas morning
and having everyone I love with me

Candace, MarkE. and Elizabeth are
my heart and soul and are with me
We are laughing and playing together
just as it should be

This Christmas would give us back
all our loves ones that have past
and fill us all with a deep contentment
that will forever last

Turning all wrongs right, no deaths,
no prisons, and no divorces
Leaving only happiness, evident
by beautiful smiles and loving voices

Mama and daddy, my sisters
and brother are all together again
With our children, grandchildren
even our great grandchildren

Aunt Holly, Tessa, Kerri and
Trisha are coming today
Aunt Ruth, Denise and Gil
are already on their way

Can't wait to see everyone
wearing a Christmas smile
To get us all together for a
picture takes a while

Happy faces and loving hugs
food on the table and toys
on the rugs

This fantasy of mine gives
me unimaginable joy and pain
How I would love to have my
family back together again
