Stop, And Just Listen

Stop, and just listen
For the ones unheard

Stop, and just listen
And maybe you’ll begin to hear…

The tears that splatter gently
Unto a hard wood floor

Shed by a broken father
Who has no children and a divorce

If you Stop, and just listen
You’ll hear the cries

For a future, a better life
Coming all the way from Africa

So silence your thoughts
And you’re squandering mind

Still your troubles, your joys
Your little sorrows and pains

Because if you stop
Then you can finally start

To just Listen….

What do you think about it?
