The maze, the ocean, the never ending fear

The world was fine and fun.
I had been laughing the whole day.
Then I felt his presence,
turned to look,there he stood, that hideous
creature.
He was staring at me,
an uncomfortable stare.
Looking right through
my body,
analysing my mind.
Deciding how he was
going to play his game with me.

His eyes were bloodshot,
his heart was colder than ice,
This souless creature!


My surroundings changed,
I was on a path,
a solid wall of plants
on each side of it.
I looked around,
noticeing it was a maze.

He smiled,
a smile that struck me
with fear.
He started
walking towards me,
I turned
and ran!

I felt him following me.
If he was running,
or walking,
I couldn't tell.
Nor how close he was.
I didn't dare turn to look.


Sprinting,
covered in swet,
heart's beating too fast,
I need to breath!
Fear, Fear, Fear.


Take a right,
turn left,
left again.
Dead end,
go back.
Need to find a way out!
Right,
right again,
left this time.
Stumble, fall,
hurry to my feet,
just keep going!


At every corner,
a hand,
is pointing me in a direction.
A voice,
the most convincing voice,
telling me,
"Go that way! Go that way!"
I ignor them,
don't listen to them.
They are part of him.
They are him.


Another dead end!
A brick wall this time,
Blocking my path.
I turn around.

He's right infront of me!
Smiling, always smiling,
his evil smile.


The wall is not to high,
I turn to climb it.
Once on top the wall,
I finally notice where I am.

In the middle of nowhere.

The maze is a Island
with
no way
out.
thousands of feets below
is an endless ocean
surrounding it.

Beneath me,
in the ocean,
those creatures,
waiting for me,
hungrey.
Blood drips off their mouths'
still from the last
victim they devoured.


He reaches out
his hand
to grab me.
Fear strikes me!
I have two choices.
Panic!
He's about to touch me!!

Here I am,
falling,
I'll be falling for a while.
He's looking down at me,
Smiling,
still smiling.
Beneath me,
the creatures are
gnashing therir teeth,
excited.


It's over,
It's done.
I'm doomed.
No way out.
Tears streaming down my face.

reach my arms up
to the sky,

I grab hold of Faith.


She flew me away,
to the forest
of Love.

My mind is empty,
In these last minutes of my life,
not a thought is in my mind.
Just a couple minutes now,
then I'll be hitting the waters.
The creatures are excited
seeing their lunch approaching.
Maybe i'll at least make them happy,
before I go.

No, they have no
emotions.
They do not know
joy,
sadness,
anger.
they are
the living dead.


I hit the waves,
The creatures
started tearing me apart.
While yet alive
they ripped off my limbs,
one by one,
As to torcher me.


I found myself swimming
in my own blood.
My body was on fire,
from the salts
on my open flesh.

I'm breathing in water,
sufficating myself.
The dark figure
i see swimming my way.
Finally, The last pain,
and my soul will be free!


I feel nothing anymore,
I cannot see, nor hear.
Everything's black.
My mind is blank,
except for one thought.
One picture,
I keep seeing
in my mind.
My last vision:

There he is,
staring at me,
bloodshot eyes.
he's not smiling now.
Not his evil smile.

He's laughing.
