There will come a time when you will think
That your life has just come to the brink
And when you look ahead at the bend
You will see that your life may just end
In fear you will cry, shout, even leap
All just before you really dig deep
Down into your chest, to find your big heart
Where courage will help you find a new start
Though you may want to curl up and cry
Your heart won’t let you lie down and die
It pumps and pumps the strength of ten men
Until you are set on your feet again
When the bend is coming, you’re going too fast
Now is the time you open your eyes at last
Grasp life by the collar and give it a shake
Till you get out of it all you can take

Just a quick little ditty that popped into my head when I was reading a story to my son. I know the message is pretty common and cliche but I wanted to post it anyway.
