A rose is like a beating heart,
that loved you from the very start.
But in every rose there is a thorn,
as in every person, a hidden scorn.
Not meant for me, nor you, nor him,
Just a small piece of unwanted sin.
It lies deep within the soul,
and stays for those who can control.
But those who cant, they let it out,
they swear, and kick, and scream, and shout.
I pray that you will keep it hidden,
as a piece of you that is forbidden.
And if you ever feel it move,
I hope you will have it removed.

A Nice little poetic piece, a nice rhyme scheme going on here, I think that perhaps a bit more imagery would really fluff up the poem nicely, thanks for entering
